Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Defining and maintaining the operating model for digital initiatives in different ALDI countries, including organisation design, operational business processes, key performance metrics/targets, operating locations and technical solutions
  • Defining what structures, roles, processes, interfaces, governance and internal KPIs are required to operate the new services
  • Ensuring close alignment with other internal business teams and working with Business Success Management to rollout organisational changes at scale across global and/or national teams
  • Maintaining consistency in the design of digital business operations in support of ALDI’s overall customer experience
  • Designing new services being introduced for customers at a conceptual (macro) and detailed level
  • Prototyping/piloting new services to test their commercial and operational viability
  • Identifying improvements to existing business processes based on data and stakeholder feedback

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Able to define the impact on the existing business structure and on process factoring within the new service vision 
  • Experience in business process mapping, workshop facilitation as well as presentation preparation
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and able to anticipate and define what’s needed for a new service to succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and varying priorities
  • Thrives within a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage several projects at once
  • Worked in agile team environments – being a team player 


Desirable extras.

  • Experience of working in digital-related projects or departments would be advantageous
  • Utilising problem-solving skills as an integral part of driving projects forward 
  • Holding a solid grasp of design principles while maintaining a keen affinity for technology
