Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Discovering business needs, analysing business processes and advising the product team and product owner on the resulting requirements
• Working hand in hand with the product owner to translate business requirements into specifications and user stories
• Identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to increase efficiency
• Driving the strategy to value process and evaluating priorities in the product backlog
• Working closely together with the product team to review and validate product increments from development to rollout
• Driving and contributing to process optimisation initiatives at the product level in your area of responsibility
• Developing the definition of done (DoD)

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Three to five years of experience in a business analyst role, ideally within an SaaS environment or related field
• In-depth understanding of IT controlling, transfer pricing (cross charging) and financial management reporting business processes 
• Experience in working within agile environments and with agile/scrum methodologies Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, detailed technical specifications, such as user stories and business use cases
• Proactive in identifying issues and developing solutions, driving resolution in a collaborative manner
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences 
• Hands-on experience with Apptio products, particularly in implementing or supporting technology business management (TBM) solutions

Desirable extras.

• Strong understanding of IT financial management and cost optimisation practices
• Experience in creating user stories, process flows, and comprehensive documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
• Profound understanding of the following financial terms: IT spending (Opex and Capex expenditure), general ledger, postings, accounting methods, forecast, budget, 5 year planning and true-up 
• Certifications in Apptio TBM, agile methodologies and business analysis
