The SAP Release Management Specialist plays a key role in the coordinated management of enterprise, minor and lean releases within the SAP landscape. This position calls for an in-depth understanding of SAP release processes, technical know-how and the ability to closely collaborate with teams in order to ensure that SAP software releases are delivered efficiently in an agile way and to the highest quality.

Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Working on optimising SAP release processes to increase efficiency and quality
  • Coordinating tasks in the release cycle and collaborating with international SAP teams
  • Identifying potential risks within the SAP landscape and providing support in finding solutions
  • Closely cooperating with various departments in order to manage dependencies and requirements
  • Clearly communicating SAP release timelines and progress to internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring the SAP release deployment and assisting in challenges that may arise
  • Preparing reports and documentation of conducted SAP release activities

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Ideally, an academic degree with a focus on information technology or economics
  • Proven experience in SAP release management or in a related field
  • In-depth understanding of SAP release processes and agile approaches as well as advanced knowledge in change and release management in global as well as distributed SAP landscapes
  • Analytical skills and structured way of thinking and working, a positive mindset and enjoyment working in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
