Introduction

In the Sustainability Product Line within ALDI SOUTH, we enable ALDI’s Global Sustainability Strategy with common data, integrated processes and the right technology.

Our focus is on securing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as driving ALDI’s ambition to make sustainability affordable to our customers.

We are convinced that you cannot do business without sustainability – and you cannot do sustainability without technology.

Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Assuming responsibility for agile project management in an international sustainability project
• Managing the budget, timeline and resources in an agile product team 
• Taking on the role of product owner
• Building bridges between business and IT to find the right solutions
• Analysing and evaluating technical solutions, incl. vendor evaluation sessions
• Defining, specifying and coordinating requirements in cooperation with international expert teams and stakeholders at the intersection of business and IT
• Helping to shape ALDI SOUTH’s path towards greater sustainability every day

Your Profile

What you should have.

• University degree or apprenticeship with a technical or business focus
• Relevant project experience or (strategic) consulting experience in the area of project management 
• Ability to show initiative; structured, methodical approach to work; openness to innovation and change
• Team spirit 
• Very good skills in creating and presenting decision papers
• Intrinsic motivation to drive ALDI’s Global Sustainability Strategy
• Very good spoken and written English language skills
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%)

Desirable extras.

• Experience with IT projects related to the introduction of new services
• Experience in agile methodologies
• Experience in the area of sustainability
• Experience working in international teams
