Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Maintaining and continuously improving the governance of the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) system in the information security environment.
    • Further developing policies and concepts
    • Overseeing IT contingency plans
    • Defining and collecting metrics to evaluate performance
    • Supporting the development of IT continuity strategies
  • Advising the first line of defence in maintaining and improving ITSCM procedures
  • Supporting and monitoring the execution of testing and exercising IT continuity plans
  • Providing continuity-related training opportunities and raising awareness to stakeholders

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Five years of proven professional experience in the field of IT Service Continuity, Crisis Management and Information Security Management within a hybrid environment (on-premise and cloud)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant norms and standards (ISO standards, BSI standards)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively in German and English
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Very good presentation skills
  • Fundamental understanding of organisational structures and processes, preferably within the retail industry


Desirable extras.

  • Further training as a 22301 Lead Implementer is desirable
