Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Collaborating as a technical contact person in an agile team that takes care of the provision and further development of central developer tools for ALDI SOUTH
  • Designing, implementing and operating central developer tools for SCM, CI/CD, artifact management and SAST
  • Aligning with other units within international IT such as security, enterprise architecture and infrastructure
  • Advising and supporting developer teams from international and national IT with using developer tools within the context of the onboarding process, general questions or solutions
  • Developing and maintaining tools
  • Creating documentation and conducting training sessions
  • Advising developers on DevOps tools

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Apprenticeship as an IT specialist in application development or degree with an IT background
  • Several years of experience as a software developer
  • Experience and good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub or Azure DevOps
  • Experience in creating and optimising CI/CD pipelines with, for example, GitLab CI
  • Experience with artifact management solutions such as Cloudsmith, jFrog Artifactory or Nexus
  • Experience in the area of automation, preferably with Python and Go
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Strategic and architectural mindset
  • Strong communication, organisational and persuasion skills
  • Fluency in English

 

Desirable extras.

  • Experience in development using Javascript, Java, PHP or .NET
  • Experience in Bash for automation purposes
  • Experience in cloud-native infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes, serverless functions)
  • Experience in the automation of cloud deployments (ideally infrastructure-as-code (IaC))
