Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Working as part of an agile development team for a full-stack web application in the Analytics & AI business unit at ALDI DX
• Finding solutions for and developing data-, analytics- and AI-focussed applications with an emphasis on GenAI components and modern software architectures
• Independently developing state-of-the-art applications based on business requirements – from conception and prototyping to development and production
• Ensuring the seamless integration of full-stack components into the enterprise architecture and data and analytics pipelines
• Designing, implementing and maintaining (containerised) development and production environments
•  Actively collaborating within the AI full-stack community and with international, interdisciplinary teams

Your Profile

What you bring with you. 

• Academic background in (applied) computer science, or a similar qualification
• Proven skills in software development, architecture and application of GenAI modules (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Proven skills in Python-based back-ends (e.g. FastAPI)
• Knowledge of JavaScript-based front-end technologies is an advantage (e.g. ReactJS) 
• Experience in the implementation of GenAI projects along a typical GenAI lifecycle (incl. prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, agent-based applications, etc.)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure) and container-based architectures (e.g. Kubernetes) as well as infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) 
• Experience in working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) or big data systems (e.g. Databricks)
• Experience in translating technical requirements into production-ready (AI and web) applications
