Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH.

The Stores IT area develops, optimises and manages our store IT systems worldwide. As part of our transformation into a product-focused organisation, we are looking for reinforcement for our Stores Solution Architecture team, which creates and is responsible for the core solution design principles and the solution architecture roadmap for the entire IT department. You will take on the role of Portfolio Architect and with it the authority for solution design for one of the Stores IT product portfolios.
 You will promote the use of state-of-the-art technology and design practices, taking into account market standards, future viability and compatibility with other products.

• Helping to shape the future IT landscape for our stores by using your expertise to bring a business and technological context to our cross-product IT solutions
• Working in agile interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with national and international colleagues to identify the best possible software architecture to meet the requirements of the business unit
• Driving forward innovation in Stores IT by defining solution architecture standards while taking into account technology, data and security
• Continuing your professional development and using your acquired knowledge to support continuous technological change in a modern IT architecture

Your Profile

What you should have.

• A degree with a focus on information technology or business administration, or similar qualification/training
• Experience in assessing business requirements and developing and evaluating technical solutions with regard to architectural framework conditions
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as presenting and meeting facilitation skills
• Agile mindset, persuasiveness and strong intercultural communication skills
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken

What is desirable.

• An understanding of retail processes and experience working with data-based interfaces, APIs and integration products in agile environments is desirable
