ALDI SOUTH IT ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the IT infrastructure to the software used: both at national and international level. Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH. In the Customer Interaction team, you always have the customer in mind. You are familiar with e-commerce solutions and the use of online tools comes naturally to you. You will develop digital “must-haves” for various apps or websites and thus ensure an excellent online shopping experience for our customers.

Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Providing counsel and support to our international development teams in the area of e-commerce and web applications
• Project Management tasks within the department
• Creating security assessments, concepts and decision papers for various IT security aspects on the basis of best practices and internal security policies
• Conducting agile security assessments within our Digital Services unit
• Supporting and further developing topics, such as “security-by-design”, “shift-left” or “DevSecOps”
• Collaboration with other IT security departments and stakeholdermanagement across teams

Your Profile

What you should have.

• University degree with a focus on information technology
• Beginning of professional experience in the area of IT security – preferably in an international context e.g. within internships
• First experiences with project management
• Technical and methodical knowledge of IT security including security infrastructures as well as knowledge of security-relevant standards or best practices, such as “BSI Grundschutz” (IT baseline protection) or ISO 27000 family of standards and OWASP
• Very good English language skills

What is desirable.

• Basic understanding of web, API and cloud technology
• Some experiences in the areas of agile software development and continuous integration
