ALDI SOUTH IT ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the IT infrastructure to the software used: both at national and international level. Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH.
As an SAP expert, you will play a key role in the implementation of ALDI SOUTH’s IT strategy and in one of the largest SAP implementation projects in the retail industry. You will develop global templates, implement software, monitor interfaces and liaise with all stakeholders. 

Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Assisting with managing transportation-related master data and EDI interface  
• Helping to fix defects during testing, ensuring data accuracy and resolving issues in interfaces and data exchanges  
• Supporting the environmental management by helping to maintain system availability for all environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod)  
• Performing routine data quality checks and contributing to data cleansing efforts 
• Assisting with interface integration and synchronisation of master data across systems
• Participating in the development and implementation of data governance policies and best practices  
• Conducting data quality checks and providing reports to the senior lead  
• Proactively engaging in root cause analyses and continuously learning and developing expertise in SAP landscape and environment management processes  

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• University degree with a focus on data science, business informatics, computer science, mathematics or a comparable qualification 
• Minimum 2–4 years of SAP experience, including working with master data and EDI interfaces
• Basic knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA and TM applications, EDI tool and middleware 
• Experience in requirements and software engineering 
• A strong desire to learn, solve problems and dig into root causes by applying a structured way of thinking 
• Excellent prioritisation, problem-solving and collaboration skill  
• Open mind towards learning new technologies, strong communication and presentation skills as well as fluency in English, German is nice to have.
