<h3 class="jd">Your Tasks</h3>

  • Ensure the delivery and maintenance of analytics use cases 
  • Provide functional leadership on methods, tools, approaches and algorithms for data scientists across cross-functional teams
  • Continuously improves our data science capability and acts as data science evangelist
  • Build and maintain an academic network to incorporate latest research from machine learning, AI, analytics and computer science
  • Ensuring high quality and best-in-class analytical use case delivery 
  • May assist the team with the coding and delivery of the model as needed  

<h3 class="jq">Your Profile</h3>

  • Academic degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent qualification/training 
  • Knowledge of the grocery retail industry a plus  
  • Experience in the commercial application of machine learning methods and algorithms  
  • Strong programming skills and proven application of advanced analytical and statistical methods 
  • Strong team leadership, mentoring, project management skills, strong problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking   
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and proven leadership experience in agile organization 
  • Active coach and mentoring skills with the goal to grow and maximize the team’s potential 
  • Passion for trying new solutions outside standard approved and to challenge status quo 
  • Excellent communication skills and business fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
